Prototyping future sound experiences

What it is

The BBC R&D's Better Radio Experiences project created speculative applications for the BBC's younger audiences.

The core technical innovation of the project was that running a web browser within a Raspberry Pi allows for fast prototyping of hardware experiences.

I created the technical architecture used as the basis of the project, an open source framework called Neue Radio and built several prototypes.
