Taxfix

What it is

After working with the founders on the pilot web app, I moved with them to help start Taxfix. I was the first technical employee and helped recruit a development team.

Once the company was set-up, I shared our learnings from the pilot and was responsible for working with a designer to prototype and build the UI using React Native. As the team expanded, I was responsible for more recruitment.

While building the app, we were careful to create components that could be re-used throughout, to separate the tax logic and questions that are specific to Germany, from the UI patterns that were generic and could be reused. This made the app adaptable to changing requirements.
