Week 21

Took 10 days leave, to the Greek island of Skiathos. Notable for it's extremely short runway. Although I'm much better at flying nowadays, the hard landing and screeching brakes before we hit the end of the runway was a bit of a shock.

The island itself is small, with a road running along it's south side that contains most of the activity. We hired a car and stayed in some lovely, small-scale apartments 60 seconds from the beach. Getting into the routine of heading to the breach, making a greek salad for lunch in the apartment and then more time at the beach. That was great.
